Applications
In order to sit the entrance exams it is necessary to fill in and submit an application. Applications are to be submitted in electronic form; all the necessary enclosures are to be uploaded (this does not apply for the legally attested copy of a diploma).
The closest opportunity to apply for all the programmes will be from 1 April until 31 May 2024. Some faculties also have an autumn application period:
Faculty of Business Administration: 15 September – 31 October 2024
Faculty of Informatics and Statistics: 30 September – 9 December 2024
The applicants applying for government scholarship will have an extraordinary application period in February 2024 and the entrance exam is going to take place in March 2024.
An application fee is charged for applying. The amount of the fee for academic year 2024/25 is 50 €*. You will receive all the necessary information concerning the payment to your email address after submitting your application.
The documents that are to be uploaded to the application form consist of:
- Short curriculum vitae with a list of publications with a short annotation and possibly an expert’s reference attached,
- the Appendix to the Application Form (version for the Faculty of Business Administration here)
- Document certifying the level of the applicant’s academic attainment or a certified copy of a diploma and diploma supplement
- Applicants whose previous studies were undertaken abroad need diploma assessment (see https://edu.vse.cz/) that must be submitted by the date of the release of the admission decision.
- Graduates of master’s programmes provided by Czech universities submit an electronic form of the certified conversion of their diploma (see Conversion to electronic format).
- Graduates of master’s programmes at VŠE are not required to submit their diploma.
- Scientific paper on the intended topic in accordance with the requirements of the given faculty (for more information see Information on the entrance examination)
Above mentioned documents are to be submitted online or sent to study coordinators for doctoral study at the chosen faculty. Names of study coordinators can be found here.
